"Our" Quiche

Put the piecrust in a pie dish, poke a few holes in it with a fork to avoid air bubbles, and then bake at 375 for 5-7 minutes. Take out and reserve. Note: the crust should still look "not done."

Lightly steam Broccoli in a steamer to keep excess water to a minimum in the quiche (4-5 minutes). Mix the eggs with the milk and green onions. Whip until fluffy. Add the salt and pepper.

Combining the Quiche

Sprinkle the broccoli and crumbled bacon into the partially cooked pie crust. Next sprinkle on the cheeses. Finally, pour the egg mixture over the ingredients already in place. Put foil around edges of quiche and place pie pan on a drip pan. Bake at 350-degrees for 25 minutes. Remove the foil from the edges of the pie and then bake an additional 15 minutes or until the center is done and a knife comes out clean. Let sit 5 -10 minutes before serving.
