Caramel Corn

Ingredients
- 7 quarts popcorn -- air-popped
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 cups brown sugar -- packed
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 12 teaspoons baking soda
Directions
Put all ingredients together in a sauce pan except popcorn and baking soda. Heat to boil and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add the baking soda and stir till foamy (it will double in size). Put the popcorn in a large roasting pan and pour the Carmel over. Stir until all popcorn is evenly covered. Bake at 325-degrees for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Don't let the corn get too dark! Cool and enjoy.
