Butterscotch surprise

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cube butter or margarine
- 1 cup walnuts -- chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
- 12 ounces Cool Whip Lite -- at room temperature
- 2 small instant pudding mix -- butterscotch flavor
- 3 cups milk
Directions
Blend the first 3 ingredients and pat firmly in a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes until lightly browned. Cool completely before proceeding.
In medium size bowl, blend the cream cheese with 1/2 cup of the cool whip. Spread this carefully over the top of the cooled crust.
Mix (with beaters) in a large bowl, 2 small pkgs of pudding with 3 cups of milk. Stir until pudding is thick. Spread this over the top of the cream cheese mixture, being very careful not to mix the layers together. Spread the remaining cool whip over the entire pan. Sprinkle with a 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
