Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 24 mushrooms, whole -- washed
- 1/4 cup green onion -- finely chopped
- 4 ounces cream cheese -- softened
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoons pepper
- 1/4 cup mushroom stems -- chopped finely
Directions
Wash and dry the mushrooms. Remove stems and hollow out the mushrooms just a bit. Finely chop and reserve 1/4 cup of the removed mushroom meat. Cream the softened cream cheese and add all other ingredients. Mix well. Stuff into the mushroom caps. place on a cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for about 8 minutes or until bubbly and golden. Serve warm.
